Community Outreach

Held in conjunction with the Lombard Christmas Mart in November, the Calvary Art Fair features creative works crafted by local artists.  This is happening November 1, 2025.  Stop by and see what it's all about!

Got a sweet tooth? Need homemade cookies for your holiday party? Calvary bakers showcase holiday treats for purchase by the pound. Held on December 6, from 4:30-6:30, during Lombard’s Jinglebell Jubilee, and the following Sunday morning from 9am to noon. Local residents come by the carful to choose their favorites. 

We participate in an annual blessing of the animals.  This year it was held at the Lombard Veterinary Hospital on Saturday, September 27.  

People pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. For more information about this ministry, visit The Journey of A Shoebox.

We have started giving out boxes.  Stop by the chruch or contact us if you want one.  Collection week starts on November 16th.

The Christmas Basket Program provides Christmas gifts to families and senior citizens who cannot afford to buy presents. Calvary congregants has supported multiple families each year through this ministry.

We will have a sign up list in the narthex starting 10/19.

Each year, during the season of Lent, Calvary one or more charities, local or global to raise money for.  In 2025, donations were given to DuPage PADS to support their efforts to end homelessness. In 2024, funds were given to the Christian Hospital in Gaza.
